Elementary School
The North Delta Elementary School includes students in grades K5-4th grade. These students are served in a modern building by a talented slate of veteran elementary teachers.
Our elementary classes year-in and year-out earn phenomenal scores on the Stanford Achievement Test. For example, for the recently completed 2006-2007 school year, our elementary classes scored an average 1.9 grade levels ahead of their actual grade (led by our second grade, which averaged 3.1 grade levels ahead of their actual grade level!).
North Delta uses A Beka's demanding math curriculum in grades K4 through 8th grade. Our kindergarten reading curriculum is the renowned Sing, Spell, Read, Write phonics program. First and second graders benefit from a brand new reading series by Prentice Hall entitled Treasures. Our talented third and fourth grade language teachers employ a blend of exciting chapter books and Houghton Mifflin’s tried-and-true English/Grammar program.
