Enrollment Procedures & Fee Schedule
Application Fee
Application for enrollment in North Delta School is made by submitting a completed application and the appropriate fee:

This fee is separate from tuition. It is not refundable, except in cases where the student is not accepted for admission or the student's family relocates beyond North Delta's attendance area.
Payment may be made in two installments, half due by March 31st and a post-dated check for the balance by June 30th.
Tuition
Tuition and fees are established each year by the Board of Directors. The object is twofold:
- to provide the best, most cost-effective college preparatory education possible, and
- to institute those programs and fees necessary to ensure the future viability of North Delta School.

Building Fee
Each family will be responsible for paying an additional $250 building fee that will be used for new facilities and/or capital improvements in school facilities. The fee may be paid in a lump sum or spread out over the term of tuition.
Tuition Payment Procedure
Tuition may be paid annually, semiannually, or monthly. The payment plan selected should be noted on the student application.
- Annual payments are due no later than July 28, 2010.
- Semiannual payments are due July 28, 2010 and January 3, 2011.
Families selecting the monthly method will receive a draft authorization form on which to specify the bank account to be drafted and the draft date. The monthly payment plan spans the eleven-month period from July 2010 through May 2011.
Promissory Contract
After the application fee has been received, a promissory contract will be sent to each family. The contract must be completed and returned to the school office within ten days of receipt in order for the registration process to be considered complete.
Contractual Agreements will be fully enforced except where the family moves to another area and with Board approval.
Registration
Student registration for the 2010-2011 school year will begin February 24, 2010. In order to operate at the most efficient level, the Board of Directors has established a limit of twenty-four (24) students for grades K4 to 4, and a limit of twenty-five (25) for grades 5-12. (Exceptions include current two-section grades.) The date of a completed and accepted application will determine student placement.
Priority Registration
Priority registration is the time period during which returning families may register and be guaranteed a classroom space.This period will extend to March 5, 2010. After this date, new students will be assigned classroom spaces. This is the only time existing North Delta families can be guaranteed admission.
Extended Care
Extended school care programs (after preschool and after school) are available. Detailed information will be sent to interested families upon request.
