School is a huge part of family and community life. It’s where our children spend their days; it’s where we gather to cheer on the home team, celebrate talent, and promote the pursuit of lifelong learning. This page will help you keep apprised of the news and events that affect your family.

COVID-19 and the Transition to Online Learning

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As you know, this is a unique time in the history of our community. North Delta School commits to the health and safety of our students and staff while working diligently to make sure that our educational mission continues. To that end, we are making plans to begin online programs to provide students with the necessary instruction to meet their educational goals. This plan is evolving hourly as new guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, State and Federal officials, and the President are presented to us. Please be patient with us as we work through this ever-changing scenario.

Our present plans are to start providing instruction online as soon as Monday, March 23. Further instructions about the specifics of this process will follow in the next couple of days. However, we are asking that if your child has materials at the school such as textbooks, computers, class materials, etc., that they will need to please come to the school and pick them up on Thursday, March 19 or Friday, March 20 between the hours of 7:00 and 8:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. To learn more, please read the entire letter from Mr. Poss.

As we begin online instruction, we have valuable information to share as it pertains to the use of Google Classroom and Zoom, internet service, and our online class schedule. Please take the time to review the documents below for very important information.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. Please visit our Administration and Staff page to find the individual you need to contact. We can do this transition, together!

North Delta School Pages

Seniors Abbi Roark and Caroline Williams had the opportunity to page at the state capitol recently.

Abbi paged for Barrett Climer, former ND student and House Information Officer. Caroline paged for Representative Tommy Reynolds.

This was a great opportunity to get a first hand look at all the duties of our officials. Great job, Abbi and Caroline!
