Apply to North Delta
We are thrilled to welcome our returning students as well as new students each year. We’re here to make the application process as easy as possible. Follow the directions provided here, and give us a call if you have any questions.
Admissions Procedures
We base admission to North Delta School (its program, classes, and activities) on each applicant's ability to successfully complete course work. We welcome the application of students of any race, religion, sex, color, and/or national origin and do not discriminate in admissions practices.
When you apply to North Delta, please include a completed application and fee, a copy of your child’s birth certificate, Social Security card, and proof of immunizations.
We consider all applications in the order we receive them. Our board of directors makes the final approval of all applicants.
Kindergarten and First-Grade Students
According to Mississippi law, all incoming kindergarten (K5) students must be five (5) years old by September 1 of the current school year. All incoming first-grade students must be six (6) years old by September 1 of the current school year.
We may administer a readiness test to determine the admission eligibility of your child(ren).
Incoming 2–12 Graders
In order for us to determine admission eligibility of your second through twelfth grader, please provide transcripts/report cards for the previous two school years when you apply. We may also need to review the results of your child’s achievement tests.
All seniors must attend North Delta for at least one semester before the semester of their graduation in order to receive a diploma from us. No students may exceed 20 years old at their expected graduation date.
Priority Admission
When classroom vacancies exist, we give first preference to the siblings of current North Delta students, NDS alumni, and children of our faculty. We also give special consideration to students who must repeat a grade due to unusual circumstances.
